Following ten years as an international project manager and business development specialist with various international organisations in the automotive industry, Rhys Marc Photis now works as a business trainer and consultant.
Having spent much of his time running operations in Central and Eastern Europe – Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia – he is well informed on the challenges and opportunities presented by these emerging markets. His responsibilities have included international procurement and logistics, and the implementation of an IT system across Western and Central Europe.
His later work included the development and implementation of corporate strategies for Central Europe, the start-up and executive management of operations in emerging markets, and the development and implementation of reengineering projects.
In 2002 he took an International MBA which included a research project on coaching and how to use the technique to build cross-cultural competencies. He then started his own London-based consultancy, Cultural Connective Ltd.
Rhys Marc Photis works as a management trainer and executive coach, and advises corporations on international strategy and implementation, the creation of organisational structures across cultural boundaries, and HR evaluation and performance development. British, he is fluent in English and German.
