Silvia Cambiè is an experienced multilingual consultant, journalist, communicator and coach. She started her career with corporate consultancy companies in Munich specializing in M&A and direct and portfolio investment.
From there she moved to the Czech Republic, where she worked initially as a trainer with the CTA news agency and then established herself in her own right as a freelance correspondent reporting for a wide range of foreign media. These included, in the UK, The European as well as Financial Times and Euromoney publications, in Germany Handelsblatt and Süddeutsche Zeitung, and various Italian media.
In addition to covering the Czech scene, she reported on privatisation in Slovakia, Hungary and Poland, and also on the economic reform process in Kazakhstan.
In 1997 Silvia moved to Brussels where, after a short spell handling press relations for the American Chamber of Commerce, she was appointed Deputy Director Communications with the European Savings Bank Group, a job that she held for six years.
She is Vice Chair of the EMEA region of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), where she is responsible, among other things, for magazine editing and conference organisation.
Silvia Cambiè graduated with a degree in business administration and social sciences from Innsbruck University and, in 2005, earned a diploma with distinction from The Coaching Academy of the UK.
She is now a qualified coach specializing in personal and career development.
Of Italian nationality, Silvia is trilingual Italian, English and German. She also speaks fluent French and has a good working knowledge of Czech.
