An experienced reporter on agriculture and fisheries policy, having worked for a US-based agricultural commodity newswire, Stuart Parker now covers federal environmental policy and defence issues for a Washington publishing house.

His career also includes assignments with the European Commission’s spokesman’s service and with a leading Brussels public affairs consultancy.

Previously, Stuart spent four years with the Agra Informa organisation as Brussels correspondent for Agra Europe (CAP policy and related trade issues) and Worldfish Report (EU fisheries policy). His recent work has also extended to EU environment and food safety policies.

Stuart Parker has an MSc in European studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He speaks excellent French and good Finnish, and is equally at home writing in British English and American English.
