Julian is a regular facilitator in international conferences and events: recent appearances have included the European Business Summit in 2006 and 2007, International Conference on Mercury 2006, sponsored by the European Commission and ‘How does the European press corps regard communicators?’
     
His preferred topics are:

- Lobbying the European Union

- Ireland and Europe: problems and paradoxes.

The International Business Club 'Château 
St Anne' in Brussels launched its new initiative:

 

European Fireside Talk on the subject of:

 

"The impact of the Belgian political crisis on Brussels' role as capital of Europe".

 

Frédéric van Marsenille introduced the speakers: Michael Stabenow, Derk Jan Eppink and Richard Hill.

 

These events are planned four times a year and will focus on the role of Brussels and the European institutions.

American University Abroad, Brussels Campus

Richard Hill talked on the subject of European business cultures to a group of 30 international MBA graduates visiting the American University Abroad (AU Abroad) in
Brussels.

Their tour was organised by the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, an independent national Catholic University located 90 miles east of Chicago.
